What is XYRON™?
XYRON™ is Asahi Kasei's modified polyphenylene ether resin (m-PPE) commercialized in 1979.
What is modified Polyphenylene ether?
This is a generic term for a polymer alloy made by mixing a resin with another resin. PPE has excellent flame resistance, heat resistance, and electrical properties.
Asahi Kasei's Diverse Offerings
Asahi Kasei's line-up includes PPE/PS, PA/PPE, PP/PPE, and PPS/PPE.
